
MEDIA Protocol targets the promotion of content. It uses the blockchain to create Smart URLs that allow content creators to launch to be in control of their promotion. It removes the reliance of advertising on ad agents, promotional platforms, and influencers.
MEDIA Protocol is creating one currency for content. This currency is what content creators will use to attract an audience. Creators can give Smart URLs Media tokens that can be handed out to viewers or people who like, comment, or promote the content. Media tokens are the currency for promoting content. Media tokens can also be accepted by Smart URLs as a form of payment for the content’s pay walls or as tips given by patrons. Media Protocol’s ICO is selling MPT tokens.

Project Adoption Timeline
MEDIA Protocol has a goal to change content promotion and this will affect not just millions of creators but everyone who enjoys content. This is a long-term project and its highly unlikely that it will see a high token demand at the immediate time of launch. Also, more than 28 million tokens are being used to promote Crypto Catnip. This project should not be seen as a flip because opening token supply is likely to be high. The project’s bonus tokens unlock after 6 months and that nullifies the viability of the project as a mid-term opportunity.

A project that intends to involve content creators and their audience will take time to gather usage. MEDIA Protocol should be seen as a long-term investment. To add to this, MEDIA Protocol is building partnerships but these are with other promising start-ups. It will take time for the project’s partnerships to develop into a valuable network as most of them will need some time to have functioning and stable services.
